Consider this typical scenario when you drop your bike off for a service at most bike shops:
“No worries, your bike will be ready to pick up in a few days (or a week!)”.
For people who ride regularly, this makes servicing extremely inconvenient and forces them to deal with the public transport system.
We try to make things easier in three important ways:
- We have a fleet of ‘courtesy’ bikes to keep you mobile while we’re working on your bike.
- We minimise the time that we have your bike by encouraging you (and making it easy) to book in advance; we can typically turn your bike around in a day unless there are complications or special parts required.
- We’re conveniently located and open early and close late so you can drop your bike off (and pick it back up) on the way to (or from) work; and we’re open on Saturday mornings.
If you would like a courtesy bike it’s best to book your bike in and tell us that so we can make sure there will be one available.
